  4. Shutting down the economy that is the livelihood of 350,000,000 people for this virus is lunacy.

  6. labcorp as of Friday will be taking 20k tests a day sent by doctors this is private testing, if you truly need a test and dont meet chemed/cdc/ guidelines you can pressure your local DR to administer the test by talking a speciman and sending to Labcorp. They wont administer by their own locations, but will take specimens sent by Dr's

    That's insane.

We need to come to terms with the fact that we are led by irresponsible, irrational people.

  8. If everyone is getting it anyway.
    Why should we overreact?
why should we be stricter than the law??
Why shut every Outdoor Prayer ???
The Askonim are ruining our lives .

    1. The point is to spread it out over time, if everyone gets sick at once there will not be enough hospital beds, ventilators and other medical supplies. So so many more people will die. That's what's happening in Italy right now. Please please practice social distancing

  12. Now is not the time but a serious soul searching and lessons learned should take place for how the events unfolded when Lakewood was hit with corona. The fact that it was not officially reported or acknowledged even though people were positive or were walking around with symptoms or positive.
Urgent cares were not providing tests and people with symptoms were roaming freely. People in the community seems to have been infected over purim at that point it was already too late to act. I know of a rebbe in the cheder that has corona he could have gotten it from a kid who is asymptomatic why was this not taken into consideration when schools stretched out pushing to stay open for a few extra days.

The public school was still open even though others in Ocean county were closed. There was no leadership or guidance from the medical community until after the fact. Township politicians were no where to be seen.
