Lakewood BOE special Meeting Budget Intro $61 Million Loan

Lakewood BOE special meeting today  March, 11 at 6:30 pm to introduce budget for 2020-2021
Taxes going up by 1 million since last year including asking for a loan of an additional $61 Million against state aid.

Total Budget is  $278,562,231  Tax payers will pay  $107,522,840 from property taxes

BOE approves maximum Attorney and Legal services up to $750,000
In the agenda


 $350,000  Community Development Block Grant  from Lakewood township to the BOE
to be used for the Replacement of Outdoor Sports Bleachers at Lakewood High School.

  1. Once the Democrats in Trenton are successful in popping the 2% cap on property taxes that Christey put on.....the BOE won't need a loan anymore. They will just raise your property taxes by $60m....each and every year. And by the way, the township is also raising their part now every year. Soon property taxes will be $25k on a small house.
