    2. Today we do anyting for a photo app doesn't matter if it's hurting the people that built this town everyone should get on the phone and call the people in the picture and ask them why they're doing this just like we do to our government when we don't like something there.doing

  2. No, everyone else consider it a first class bizoyin.

  3. Just wondering. Shouldn't they have put on the mezuza months ago?

    1. The main chiyuv of installing a mezuzah is at dwelling, though it's nice to put up a mezuzah on a business as it is a strong Jewish custom. What an appropriate occasion to invite the Rosh Yeshiva to come see the new store and admire how far Lakewood has advanced beyond the vision of R' Aaron ZZ"L!

    2. Trust me. Rav ahron was very against lakewood expanding and certainly not to thr home Depot parking lot and certainly not next to a lingere store

    3. So you think maybe because of the august dignitaries flocking to this new Mecca, the existing Lingerie store will respect the sentiments of the new clientele and put up a discreet display? Oh sure.
Cheder Yingel with Peiyos: "Tatty, what kind of clothing does that store sell? Can we go see?" Tatty: (apoplectic, but saving money takes precedence over narishkeit like that)

  4. To those complaining about outside businesses coming to lakewood well obviously the roshei yeshiva have no issues with it otherwise they won't go for a photo op and put on a mezizza.

    1. Who know what pressure or persuasion was used to drag the Rosh Yeshiva to attend this comedy? If the message insinuated that that the yeshiva does not care for the locals being harmed, them a retraction is surely in order.

    2. I’m confused! Why would a Rose Yeshiva or a Rov let themselves be pressured? Don’t they have backbones? How come this is a bizayon but stopping Shuls isn’t a bizayon?

  6. Think about the savings for struggling families who can trim a few hundred dollars a month off their food bill.
    Let the competition begin.

    1. Is the supermarket the force that determines your Parnassa? do you help the Aibesheter with your food budget? Maybe if a person shoplifts he could save even more money.... The bottom line is: A person has to do what's right, honest and ehrlich. Supporting your friends and neighbours ranks there. Outsiders who have come to impact your neighbor should not merit your patronage. And yes, the business owners are also subject to having Bitachon that their Parnassa is determined by H-shem. Each person must have Bitachon for himself only, and for "yenem"r he should do the utmost to do what is right and help.

  8. To anonymous at 815am.
Do you really think you will be saving hundreds of dollars a month? Are they giving food away for free?

  9. Maybe if a new super store comes into town they will start "giving back to the community"

  10. Most stores in this town were started by outsiders.
They were not brought up in Lakewood. Most came from the new york, Monsey areas.
Are Lakewood stores only reserved lakewood shvitzers.toms river stores owners only for toms river shvitzers? Etc?
Maybe walmart and lowes should leave howell because they arent locals?
