New wedding hall opened Keser Moshe Yehuda at the Lakewood Cheder building, This is the second chasuna hall at the school along with the Fountain ballroom hall. There are weddings booked that will use both halls for men and ladies. There was vallet parking at the first wedding held there.
-Satmar Rebbe Rav Zalman Leib Teitelbaum will conduct a TU Basvat Tish in Lakewood coinciding with a Sheva Brachos and Chanukas Habayis at the Rockwell community
-Nikolsberg Rebbe will conduct a Tu Bshvat tish in Lakewood at 60 Park Avenue
-Chevron Rosh Yeshiva will be arriving in Lakewood on Friday ahead of the Tomchei Shabbos Dinner this Motzei Shabbos. He will also speak to a assembly of Rebbeim on Chinuch matters.
-The LSTA has requested an extension to repay part of its $1.5 million dollar loan from the LDC. The lsta paid back 600k and still owes 900k, The attorney steve Seacre requested the deferment after a change in payment structure to the lsta.
-Turning lanes and Traffic light will be coming later this year to the intersection of Prospect and Massachusetts in Lakewood (Reporter Moshe)
