ReplyDeletePeople have been complaining that the LSTA does not have to hold hearings, open its books, or transparently design routes. Some say that one group subsides another. It took me almost to years the figure out how to win this without the issue of arkaos, which we were zoche to avoid by going for a writ mandamus.
ReplyDeleteNow it is in your hands. Just remember, the same people who are the trustees of the LSTA are the people who installed Inzelbuch and the BOE. They tell you who to vote for.
I am not aware of any corruption. Now it is going to be in your hands. Do nothing, show no interest, don't show up for public comment on the regulations, we will blow this wonderful chance at democracy in Lakewood.
At the very least make the "trustees," who tell y'all how to vote, too scared to oppose the people demanding transparency. The result of our litigation will be as close as you can get to transparency and public input over a private consortium.
The LSTA regulations and oversight committee, together with IY"H a big win in the Appellate Division deciding that the formula is at fault, should empower the people of Lakewood to demand government that is accountable to the people. We need to seize the moment of hashgacha to establish fair and efficient government. DeleteThe Satmar Rebbe prohibited any Jew in his community from having anything to do with the Zionists. In fact, in a very gruesome story that was just recently revealed was that the Zionists with the permission of the British granted 500 special visas for children in Romania, yet the Satmar Rebbe refused it; the 500 were ultimately murdered. This information was written in a Diary by the daughter of the Satmar Dayan Harav Kraus.
ReplyDeleteThe majority of the European Rabbanim were against dealing with the Zionists in any capacity but When they finally saw the handwriting on the wall they came begging the Zionists but it was too little and too late!
Now they blame the Zionists! Rav Teichtal laments the fact that the Gedoilim of Europe refused to partner with the Zionists in developing the land way back
