Unfortunately, the full-page article failed to mention those behind this decade-long effort—R’ Aaron Lang and Prof. Paul Trachtenberg. 1. Pesach is ove and just like that, the Central Avenue and Route 9 chaos is back, construction, closures, and confusion all over again.

The Township first claimed it wasn’t their project and had no records, yet permits were quietly issued for road openings on Township streets. Only through relentless follow-up did those documents come to light.

Now, rumors point to the controversial Eagle Ridge development as the driving force behind this work — a massive project with long-term impact on traffic, infrastructure, and quality of life.

    And here’s the troubling part:
The real impact is only beginning. As this project expands, the disruptions will grow.
Are decision makers profiting while the public pays the price?

If there’s nothing to hide, why all the deflection, denials, and silence?

The community deserves answers, not after the fact, and not filtered through vague paperwork and behind-the-scenes approvals

    2. Please expose all permits and documents that were kept from the public about this construction project

  2. That dream story, on the small chance that a kernel of truth is involved, has no bearing on anything. It is a non-story, even in its distorted state.

  3. I have no inside information, but it seems obvious to me that if a yeshiva wanted their boys, who typically do not have email addresses and credit cards, to vote this is exactly how they would do it.

As long as they are real people voting and the slate is not paying for it, there are no legal or ethical problems.

This issue was brought up weeks ago and was never updated. I suspect that it turned out to be nothing.

At least that’s what I hope.

    2. The fake frum media were all over the story about the conservative ad campaign hmm were they paid off by EH to publish the articles
Yet none of them reported the allegations against EH

    3. Because there were no allegations against EHK.
They hid nothing. Some believed their verified actions were illegal.

      Not the same at all

  7. So a conservative group paid for Hebrew posters in meah shearim against voting wzo. Now somehow because of this, eretz hakodesh wants to discredit Rav Dov landau and all the other gedolim who say voting in wzo is assur. Very good eretz kodesh, you really outdid yourselves with this one.

    2. huh..so you're also getting dough from the frei-to ch"v avoid taking dough from the frei?!

    3. Nowhere in any article is there even an implication that the conservative campaign was coordinated in any way with the frum anti wzo forces.
Yet, in your twisted mind, a conservative wzo group trying to limit orthodox turnout by posting signs in israel, somehow equates to getting dough from the frei. You fully bought into the eretz hakodesh propaganda

    4. Suddenly, the terrible acts of the maarachah makers are placed on the backs of the Gedolim.
      Slick twist.
No, a few Gedolim said something against voting. That voice was amplified and sold as the only opinion by the conservative movement, kannaim in the US, and some websites.

    6. These ads should put to rest any claims that the Reform and Conservative movements do not see the anti Eretz Hakodosh kanoim as helping them with their anti-Torah agendas. You can say you follow Daas Torah and won’t vote even risking those consequences . But you can not deny the reality of the outcome al pi derech hatevah.

    7. It takes a real genius to understand that the fewer people vote, the more the weight each vote has. Everyone knows that, and even so the gedolim unanimously said not to vote eretz hakodesh, or any wzo party.

      Delete
    8. No, there is no unanimity.

One, only one, Gadol in Eretz Yisroel said not to vote. Not unanimously, not everyone, just one.

    10. A very vocal minority of minor leaguers said to vote. They have permitted themselves to use all sorts of deceitful tactics and outright fallshoods in their battle against the majority of minor leaguers, as well as all of the all stars of the majors.

This is not a disagreement of equals by any stretch of the imagination.

Matzav and the Yated need to clarify their relationship.

But Reb Eliyahu Levin and Reb Moshe Hillel Hirsch are not minor leaguers. And both are telling people to vote. And they aren't vocal.
