Iran Israel Updates Monday July 27

- Trump to Barak Ravid: "We are having deep talks with Iran. If they don't succeed, we will return to a powerful military operation."

-Regional officials told the Associated Press: Progress has been made in efforts to bridge the gaps between the United States and Iran.

- CBS Poll: Most Americans are unhappy with how the war with Iran is unfolding, with 63% saying they feel "very" or "somewhat" badly about the conflict. Most expect the war to continue for months or years, and 76% believe it has been more difficult than the Trump administration anticipated

- Fox: The U.S. hasn't launched strikes on Iran for the past three nights, but the White House says military action is still on the table. Officials say Washington is weighing diplomacy, economic pressure, and a naval blockade that is reportedly costing Tehran hundreds of millions of dollars a day. At the same time, Israel remains on high alert, Netanyahu is warning of a "very, very forceful" response to any attack, and tensions continue rising after Ukraine says it struck Iranian military cargo vessels in the Caspian Sea.

- The IDF intercepted two drones near the Jordanian border a short while ago. According to the IDF, the UAVs did not enter Israeli territory. The launch origin is under investigation, and no sirens were activated in accordance with protocol.
