- Smoke from the Canadian wildfires have now spread over most of New Jersey and is expected to linger through Thursday and perhaps into Friday, potentially causing visibility restrictions and poor air quality across the state.
According to the National Weather Service, this smoke event is not expected to be as severe as the similar event that occurred in June 2023.(One Jersey)
