NJNGAS contractor advises they will be upgrading gas lines on Cedarbridge Ave from Hurley to MLK construction expected to last one week - there will always be one lane open each direction Both contractors scheduled during this time period with much lighter traffic. Police will be on hand to assist as determined to be necessary

Powerball Jackpot $600 million next drawing Monday night.

A large fire broke out at the kever of the  Bal HaTanya in Ukraine during Shabbos. Heavy damage was caused to the site, including the shul and Hachnosas orchim house. The local police have opened an investigation.

BDE. Petirah of R' Dovid Einhorn Z"L one of the prominent elder Vizhnitzer chassidim,  from pre war Europe was niftar  erev shabbos a few days after celebrating his 100th  birthday 

R' Dovid, a Holocaust survivor who endured the horrors of the Auschwitz death camp, was one of Borough Park's most beloved and recognizable figures. Neighborhood residents knew him well as the elderly Yid who would regularly sit on the bench at the corner of 13th Avenue and 46th Street, across from Taam Eden Bakery, greeting every passerby with a warm smile and a kind word.
