Iran Israel News Updates Sunday July 12

- Iran warns: “The enemy will suffer unprecedented retaliatory strikes starting tonight if it continues its aggressive actions on our territory.” 

- The intelligence that Israel gave the US included an intercepted conversation from a senior Iranian regime official who, in relation to an assassination plot against Trump, said, "This is our chance now; this opportunity will not come again." The plot was supposed to take place in Turkey while Trump was at the NATO summit.  Israel Ch. 13

- Trump: We had meetings with them. They agreed to a deal yesterday. A perfect deal for us. No nuclear… They gave up everything, and then… within an hour, they launched a drone at a ship,“I said, ‘You people are sick, and so it’s one of those things.

- Iran launches several missiles at Kuwait.

- Trump to NBC: The Strait of Hormuz is open. We blew them apart last night

-  CENTCOM: The Strait of Hormuz is open to all vessels and US military forces are “positioned and prepared Iran does not control the strait,”  “Traffic is flowing.”

- Iran doubles down on insisting that the Strait of Hormuz is again closed to shipping, blaming “illegal movements” by US forces, after US Central Command said that traffic through the waterway was “flowing” as normal.

“Due to the recent illegal movements of the United States military forces in the region, passage through the Strait of Hormuz is currently not possible,”

- Israeli airstrikes targeted the south of Gaza City today. IDFsays it was a Hamas .manufacturing weapons facility.
