Iran War Updates Sunday March 29

- The heavy water reactor Khondab located in the city of Arak, which Iran reported was attacked in recent days, was significantly damaged and is no longer operational

- Israel is expected to offer to the US to consider establishing bases on Israeli territory. The intention is both to relocate bases from other parts of the Middle East and to establish new bases to take advantage of the presence of US forces already here.

- El AL: Due to these limitations, all regularly scheduled flights that were planned to depart from Israel through April 11, prior to the start of Operation Roaring Lion are canceled, including the relevant return flights. Notifications are being sent to the affected passengers.

- Benjamin Netanyahu on the north: 
I have now instructed to further expand the existing security zone. We are determined to fundamentally change the situation in the north and restore security to the residents of the north. We will not accept the reality of a continuing threat to our communities and citizens. We will continue to act with strength, determination and responsibility until we achieve our goal

-Several impact sites in Be'er sheva as a few cluster bomb missiles were fired by Iran over the city.  A few people were treated  for shock from the blasts with heavy damage reported at several locations from falling fragments.

- The chemical plant fire is contained 

- Iran fires 6 missile salvos at Israel, impact reported at Neot Chovav industrial zone near Beer Sheva. One lightly injured from the blast. Residents were told by home front command to remain indoors and close windows to to potential leak of hazardous materials as a result of a fire in a industrial plant. 

- Tehran official says US ‘secretly’ plotting ground op

- Arkia airlines  cancels all flights from Jordaan after Jordanian authorities suddenly changed policy, leaving hundreds of Israelis stranded in Aqaba. Operations for now have been transferred to Taba airport in Egypt.

- Iran confirmed on March 27 destroying the critical E-3 at Prince Sultan Air Base and injuring US personnel. The IRGC then threatened strikes on US and Israeli university campuses in the Middle East unless the US condemns attacks on two Tehran universities by noon Tehran time on March 29

- IDF forces attacked dozens of additional weapons manufacturing sites in Iran, including:
Production sites for ballistic missile engines of the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
 A site for the production and storage of weapons.
 A site for the production of engines for uncrewed aerial vehicles.
 A site used by the Iranian army for the development of air defense systems, production, and storage of missiles intended to target aircraft

-  Another 2 USAF B-52 bombers have touched down at RAF Fairford, England. That amounts to a total of 23 bombers based at Fairford so far.
