-According to three law enforcement sources, the vehicle involved in today’s attack at a Michigan synagogue is registered to a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Lebanon who currently resides in Dearborn, Michigan per Fox News

Lakewood Township is planning to sell a vacant property, Block 1051.09 Lot 10, a 12,160-square-foot lot in an R-12 residential zone located near River Avenue and Ford Avenue. The property will be sold through a public auction with a minimum bid of $373,500 The deed will require the property to be used only as a neighborhood clubhouse for surrounding residents in perpetuity, and if it is used for another purpose the ownership will automatically revert back to the township.

    Why is this required ?? People dont have common sense or logic to listen?ONly when a gadol says to listen to authoities then it is ok to do?

In many sectors in the frum world, people have convinced themselves that the only values that matter are values that exclusively come from the Torah, and that other values don't, even if they are Torah values as well such as avoiding a sakana. It's like the joke about writing cholov stam on a private milk carton to stop people from taking from it without permission.

  3. Something missing in the chinuch here. Sad that thye needed to be told. but its the price we pay or raising a community that needs to hear everything from the Gedolim.
    It may have been a good idea to remind the bachurim that they should appreciate the mesiras nefesh of the soldiers, instead of implying that they are not needed as the Torah learning is THE protection of Klall Yisroel in EY.
