Lkwd News Briefs Tuesday 3/12

- The lawyer for R' Eisemann filed a motion in court yesterday  that two guilty verdicts should be overturned or his client should get a new trial. Lawyer Lee Vartan argued, the jury misunderstood the law and Eisemann should be acquitted of all charges. He also argued that his client  cannot be guilty of money laundering because the $200,000 was repaid within 12 days the money was a loan and  not theft that would constitute an underlying crime needed to sustain a money laundering conviction.
