For tomorrow: Minhag When the  scheduked selichos for 5th day of Aseres Yemei Teshuva falls out on Thursday which has krias Hatorah and Yud Gimmel midos the selichos of יום חמישי is said instead of the selichos for יום רביעי which will be said instead on Friday. The  Lakewood yeshiva does so too.

- The Lakewood planning board last night approved the new shul building for Toldos Yehuda under the leadership of the Stutchin rebbe Rav mOttel Zilber shlita. The shul will be at the corner of Madison and 14th street in Lakewood several neighbors addressed safety concerns which the board and shul members took into account with the resolution to approve. 

- At the LDC meeting members of the heimishe communities in South Lakewood called in again via public comment to thank the board for the shuttle bus and asked if they can have a tracking system installed so people can know when the bus comes. This shuttle service has not been given to the Lakewood senior community developments, many who can't drive anymore. 

- Mir yerushalayim, starting next zman there will be a separate dining room for the American bochurim with an American chef making the food. 

- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Lakewood on Friday evening, authorities said. The person was hit at 7:04 p.m. Friday on Lenape Trail, according to State Police fatal crash data. The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office referred questions about the incident to Lakewood police, who didn’t respond to inquiries from NJ.com on Monday or Tuesday.

- The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection says none of the 5,000 gallons of diesel fuel which spilled from a data center in Secaucus into a nearby Meadowlands creek last week made it into the Hackensack River. The spill was a result of a failure of two valves that are used as part of the filtration process for the fuel, according to the company that has operated the data center since 2001.(Onejersey)
