- Police in Lakewood, NJ responded Tuesday morning to a report of a possibly armed person near Laurel and Clover, prompting nearby school lockdowns. Officers located the individual but found no weapon. Police say there is no known threat to the public and no ongoing threat

- New rideshare to yeshiva. The Yeshiva Carpool is a simple ride-sharing system that helps youngeleit get to and from yeshiva. Passengers  call and enter their location, and get connected with a driver in their area who calls in to the system with his pick up locations.

Mikie Sherrill said Tuesday that any credible report of inappropriate behavior or misconduct involving members of her administration must be “fully examined and addressed,” but did not directly address an internal investigation into her lieutenant governor, Dale Caldwell. “Public service is an honor,” Sherrill said in a statement. “And I have spent a lifetime of service in the Navy, as a prosecutor, in Congress, and now as Governor.”“I demand that everyone in my administration hold themselves to the highest standards and put their obligations to public service first,” she said.

- Uman Rosh Hashana: Hundreds of Breslover Chassidim traveling to Uman for Rosh Hashanah were left without their luggage after HiSky flights from Ben Gurion Airport to Kishinev, Moldova, departed without passengers’ suitcases.
