- As doubts about the prospect of imminent regime change in Iran spike, defense sources have told The Jerusalem Post that regime change is not and never was a military goal.
Rather, the IDF always hoped to enhance the conditions which might make regime change in Iran possible if the domestic opposition to the government were ready to take to the streets again in sufficient numbers to topple the regime, said defense sources.

- Fox News correspondent Nate Foy also said despite Israel's strong air defense, half of the missiles are hard to defend against because half of the missiles are cluster munitions.
"The Iranian use of cluster missiles and the idea that they deliberately target civilians and civil facilities must be considered as a use of non-conventional weapons, and the American-Israeli response must be appropriate,"

- El AL Update
All regularly scheduled EL AL flights through March 14 have been canceled, regardless of when the ticket was purchased.
•We are currently operating limited emergency recovery flights to and from select gateways worldwide.
•Customers are being automatically reassigned to these flights based on original itineraries and government imposed capacity limits.
We will continue expanding the schedule as soon as security protocols allow. Flight frequency and passenger capacity are determined by government authorities, and these restrictions directly affect the pace of reassignments.

  1. we cannot allow the Zionists to prevent us from learning and davening, they use Covid and any other excuse to shut down the Torah

  2. The Zionists have no zchusim left, these chiloni HATE the Torah and us who represent it, they want to shut down learning, this is why we have rockets flying.

    1. What it is about being a frothing at the mouth anti-Zionist that causes people to have the delusion that they have turned into neviem? I see it online all over. That crowd is somehow convinced they know and understand things like Neviem. You want to do about zchsim or the lack thereof. They think they are above what the Rambam says וְשִׁקּוּל זֶה אֵינוֹ לְפִי מִנְיַן הַזְּכֻיּוֹת וְהָעֲוֹנוֹת אֶלָּא לְפִי גָּדְלָם: יֵשׁ זְכוּת שֶׁהִיא כְּנֶגֶד כַּמָּה עֲוֹנוֹת, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר: “יַעַן נִמְצָא בוֹ דָּבָר טוֹב”; וְיֵשׁ עָוֹן שֶׁהוּא כְּנֶגֶד כַּמָּה זְכֻיּוֹת, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר: “וְחוֹטֵא אֶחָד יְאַבֵּד טוֹבָה הַרְבֵּה and continues וְאֵין שׁוֹקְלִין אֶלָּא בְדַעְתּוֹ שֶׁל אֵ-ל דֵּעוֹת וְהוּא הַיּוֹדֵעַ הֵיאַךְ עוֹרְכִין הַזְּכֻיּוֹת כְּנֶגֶד הָעֲוֹנוֹת. Do you even know who the person the posuk the Rambam brings as “יַעַן נִמְצָא בוֹ דָּבָר טוֹב” is a reference to and what his zchus was? Hint: He was an army officer and crown prince in a government a lot worse than the Zionists...His דָּבָר טוֹב was not going along with his father's level of Rishus at first. Chazal say that had he lived longer he would have.

    2. The reason rockets are flying is because YOU are on the shmutzige tumaneh internet instead of sitting in Beis Midrash and learning

Whatever are the merits of your larger case,
It's not for you to decide or make such a claim if any "government was a lot worse " than what we face nowadays
It puts you under the Israel shrill umbrella. Every modox articulator like yourself Cherrypicks which chazal they take (when convenient for themselves) literally vs the many others which they choose to ignore.

    4. 11:02 I wasn’t the one who made the original comment but just to show that you aren’t the only one who knows the answer I will write the details . The Posuk is referring to the son of Yeruvem Ben Nevat. His zchus was that when his father put soldiers on all the other roadways to prevent people from being Oleh Regel, he told the soldiers directly under him not to enforce the law and was even oleh regel himself.

    5. NB If you believe that a government like that of Yeruvem Ben Navot ,who the Rambam names as example of the worst Rosha a person can be , which created golden calfs and tried to force everyone to worship them l'hachis (they certainly did not exempt those who learning from fighting in their army) is not worse than the current Israeli government then you are following a religion that revolves around opposition to Zionism. Unless you can tell me with maareh mokomos why see the possibility that I'm incorrect. But why is your comment directed at me? I'm not the one pretending to know how Hashem views things. That was the comment I responded to. Why isn't your comment directed to him?

    6. Every modox articulator like yourself Cherrypicks which chazal they take
Interesting claim. Which sources should he be using instead? It's hard to accuse someone of cherry-picking sources when he is the only one here who is actually giving any.

      Cherrypicking Again.Presentism.
All other comparisons to those bygone days are just made to pat our own era on the backs and score denominational / sociopolitical broadsides.

Our mesorah can on one hand can condemn them with the strongest and worst terms - yet paradoxically could raise them to levels which are Beyond those of us today, and in most cases mitigate their sins and/or explain their urges in a context which puts the horizons way beyond us .
We need to learn what not to do from them, and not make the same mistakes relative to our level again.
That is,despite their level they and the leadership of the era failed relative to their glorious options somehow , are we or aren't we doing the same tragedy over again??

    8. NB Your post starts off bordering on kefira. It sounds just like what a reform rabbi would say about how we don't learn from ancient times and prophecies and what Chazal said about them. I have no idea what mesora you are talking about. You are once again accusing me cherry picking without giving a single Torah source of your own about how I'm "supposed" to be thinking. You may be saying a simple point. People could have been tremendous Rahayim but still had tremendous zechyos. That would be true about the "Zionists" too. You want to talk about mistakes made by great people back then that aren't to be repeated? Hashem told Eliyohu HaNavi that he is no longer interested in him being the Novi and he should appoint Elisha instead because Eliyohu was mekatrag on Klal Yisreol too much. And Eliyohu didn't spoke as strongly or as basely accusatory about Achav and co as the rabidly anti-Zionist crowd does today, And Eliyohu also constantly davened for their safety. Even so Hashem was no longer wanted him to be the Navi. Take a lesson from that.

your contentions are again irrelevant & verge on chillul kodshim. Perhaps to NK agitators they may have relevance, but who cares

    12. Cohen Y. “The nice thing about being based on what Chazal actually say like I am is that they don’t depend on anyone’s "level." They either support the haskfa or they don’t. Chanufa and insults aside, the discussion should be about Torah sources. If anyone thinks the sources I posted are wrong, feel free to mentions mekoros to the contrary. I agree 100% that I'm indeed not the level that takes boich svoras and rhetoric as Torah Haskafa...

  3. It's off putting that prominent people from Israel came on elal flights to the US while Americans are struggling to find a way home.
Now is not the time for fundraising and entertainment wedding hopping

    2. Why is now not the time for fundraising? Why shouldn't entertainers make parnassah?
The idea that the country should close down for war is a dangerous one. Boruch Hashem the Yeshivos are smarter than that.

    3. Can we please have just a bit of concern for our brethren in the holy land? Fundraisers are here to help the people back home - not for entertainment.
