  1. The Rabbanim are correct. If people to continue to have a free choice, and choose to call the new organization, it is a serious threat to the existing. The solution is to take away the free choice. Like everything Lakewood.

  2. It's distasteful and childish of the lapdog media to think its a funny joke to listen to the prank calls to the "illegitimate hatzzolah organization"
Why does no-one care about this behavior to make prank calls to emergency services and this disgusting behavior by children
They only got upset when the calls went to hatzolah but otherwise this practice is condoned by the establishment
    What a sick world

  3. In a few years these kids will be the Rabbanim signing on the next kol koreh. This is the Lakewood establishment. We have lost all touch with what authentic yiddishkeit is about.
For the record, every major gadol in Europe had opposition, including the Brisker rav, the Nodei Beyhuda, R' Shaya Kerestir, and others - all with letters signed by other "gedolim". Yet these gedolim we still hear about and the ones that signed are unknown in history. A letter with signatures doesn't mean they are right. None of the gedolim backed down when the letters came out, they only became more steadfast and worked harder, as I am sure will happen with this new organizaton. If the establishment really wanted them to cease to exist, ignoring them would have been a better strategy.

  4. At the very least Hatzulas Nefashos should use a name that clearly differentiates them from Hatzala.

    1. How is this not a clear differentiator?

    2. The word Hatzalah should not be in their name. Not even in distorted form . It implies an affiliation or that they are a subgroup of the real Hatzalah. People in emergency situations, people who are solicited for money, politicians they are lobbying for rights etc. are all going to have those among them who think they are dealing with the Hatzalah that has been around for many years

    3. What's the difference? They are doing the same job as Hatzalah, the money arrives at the same place.

Are you claiming that someone is making profit on this?

    4. June 6, 2024 at 1:27 PM This going from bad to worse. Just imagine someone collecting money for Yeshiva from it’s alumni when the money is really going to a new Yeshiva he is looking to build up. Like, what’s the difference the money is going to a Yeshiva,

    5. Many yeshivot have breakaway yeshivot. Same with shuls and other mosdot.
Slabodka had another Yeshiva in town with same first name.
TV had another school on prospect expressway service road till a din torah that they had to change name, and now we have Torah Temimah.
Yerushalayim has like ten Chevrah Kaddishas, with similar names.

    6. And why can there be a Bobov45?

  5. So again the precious yungerleit our pride, Will take second place to those in EY. We can't even have our own fundraising affair..... It will be completely taken over by the needs of those in EY....... Wouldn't it be nice if a 100 million dollars was collected for our younger leit, Who have to struggle with mortgage payments tuition payments which those in EY dont.....

    1. In the meantime , the yeshivas in EY are totally at risk of closing down. This is nit about adding to somebody's kollel check. It is very mice to add 100 mill to BMG kollel check, but practically speaking, the kollel raise didn't stop the yeshiva from closing diwn and didn't add more yungeleit to tye kollel. In EY ,the entire oliom hatorah is at risk

    2. The question is not if they need money which is a good question for a different time (the government has other avenues to give funding to yeshivos and is keen to do so to stay in power)but rather them stealing the thunder of bmg fundraising campaign, think of rccs raising money at a hatzolo function?

    3. Hello. They are not crashing the Adirei event. Obviously they were invited by the Rosh Yeshivas and I would assume that they will not say anything in their speeches that is not in sync with the BMG Roshei Yeshivah .

  6. I think people up free to choose whoever they want.
But is this new organization licensed????

  7. Hatzulas nefashos transported 150 patients to hospitals
Who is willing to say that is illegitimate?
And to condone the prank calls shows how messed up our powerful askanim are

    1. Every patient contact is submitted to the State DOH. I am sure you can file a request for that via FOIL. In fact, I am guessing that Hatzola already has that info, and that is why they are feeling panicked. If no one was calling them, and they had no calls, there would be no threat. When Hatzalas Nefashos got some recent publicity over an airplane transport, I knew that it was just a matter of time before Hatzola would go on a smear campaign.

If only there was competition during covid
When it was shuls were threatened not to open covid surviver minyanim and rabbonim were bullied and threatened

    1. So, if another covid came, the decision whether to permit minyanim will be based on cheshbonos other than health.

Sounds like a problem to me.

  9. What's with these adirei torah gifts. What are they and when are they coming. The yard sign says in small letters on bottom that it is not affiliated to adirei torah. Is it dirshu

  10. I know zero about this new origination but the more I see of comments in support of it the less I think that they are about Hatzolas Nefoshas and the more I think they are about being young macher wannabes looking to stick it to the establishment. Including the rabbinic establishment.

    1. I actually never thought good of them. But the more they get attacked in this campaign to take them out, the more I'm starting to support them.

    2. Anon 2:43. You nailed it. Nobody thinks they mean lshem shomayim. But also also anybody with a brain should realize the smear campaign has nothing to do with saving lives and rather the threat to their own egos or control.

  11. Just curious how many of those Rabonim are aware they were signed on the kolKoreh?
