Open up cabinets and vanities to allow heat in.
* Let sinks drip a bit over night to avoid freezing.
* Remove soda cans, bottles from vehicles to avoid busting.
* Don't turn off the heat even if going away.
If your heat runs on oil DONT let the tank empty completely before calling for a fill up. if you do let it run dry your asking for big trouble when u refill it, because your heater most likely will not start up without calling a repairman.
