Girls schools are starting tomorrow but for many girls they still have no where to go. Parents who's children are still not in school literally banged on the doors of school principals today begging to accept their children.
Parents were told to hold tight while individuals work on placing all girls from Ateres Tziporah into existing schools and that siblings will be kept together. With 12 hours left they are hoping for the best.
The Ateres Tziporah school building is now occupied by a boys elementary school Talmud Torah of Lakewood
ReplyDeleteEven if the school opens today, what the vaad did here is disgusting and full of gaivah to make children and parents wait for the last second causing much צער they should hang their heads in shame instead of patting themselves on their backs.
ReplyDeleteWhat you just commented is disgusting. Have YOU done a thing to try and help the situation?? The Va'ad are volunteers trying to help in a very difficult situation. To top it off, there are people like you saying how disgusting they are. Until you actually put yourself out there and do something other than write comments on a stupid blog, keep your comments to yourself....
DeleteYes I've done more than a few things I did not shut the school down with no plan in place and cause tremendous tzaar and bizyonos to these girls and their families.

the vaad didnt close the school.. who is responsible for you ? and if its " the rabbonnim" are you beholden to them do you follow them or is it a one way street

DeleteEveryone knows that the girls will get into a school in the end. Why make them suffer so much and wait until the last minute? These students did nothing wrong. The school closed down!!! We have appeals non stop on all websites, in all mailboxes and on every phone, but we can't even take care of our own without bizayon. At the end of the day, or at the end of our lives, there is an accounting. Nothing goes unoticed.
