Yesterday White house correspondents had a chance to bring their children to work among them was the son of Lakewood resident and Ami Magazine reporter Jake Turx. He asked the Press secretary "After President Trump makes America great again, what job will there be for future presidents?"
My son just got called on at the White House press briefing by @PressSec@SHSanders45. His question was his own idea, and kinda epic, IMHO:— Jake Turx (@JakeTurx) April 26, 2018

ReplyDeleteIs that what we want to show our children as success? He is a a president, very nice. But הן עם לבדד ישכון, we should not be looking for kavod by them. We have our own system going and we don't need them.
My son got to see Reb Avremal Bromberg this week. A Yid who knows Shas be'iyun. No sycophantic questions necessary
Hope you didn't dislocate your shoulder while patting yourself on your back. There is a safek if you make a Brachah if you see a President nowadays, the gemara in Brachos says there is a Mitzvah to see a king, the same safek Mitzvah would likely apply nowadays to a President.
DeleteNext time you visit a Talmid Chacham aske them if your son was invited to see the President, whether you should bring them, you may be surprised by the answer.
Did Turks have a Fallout with Lakewood Scoop? This is there are typical Breaking News non News. However they didn't publish it
ReplyDeleteWhat's sycophantic? Did you learn that word by your shtender?
