People should not donate expired stuff. Not pleasant to find that you bought stale stuff after you've bitten in. Truth is that a lot of kosher products do not have expiration dates listed.
One of the ways the heimish food companies screw the customers are by not having expiration dates on many of the products. This way the stores that overbuy can unload them on the unsuspecting customers. Almost all non heimish products always have a date on it.
I buy at the sale. I just take the extra couple of seconds and look at the date on each item and the way each item looks. Will though it is correct to say that every once in awhile something is expired paying $0.20 on the dollar is well worth the occasional expired bag of pretzels or whatever. I spend $100 here and easily save over $500 on anyone else's sale price. Just have to use your eyes and look what you're buying
People should be aware that many of the products sold at this chomets sale are past thier expirition date or best by date.
ReplyDeleteCorrection:Expiration date
