Special BOE Meeting Today, New Security Measures

 Lakewood Board of Education Special Meeting, on Thursday, September 5, 2019, 6:30 p.m., Executive Session at 6:40 p.m., reopening of Public Session at 7:30 p.m., at the Lakewood Early Childhood Center, 721 Ridge Avenue, Lakewood, New Jersey.
-Picture ID is required for security reasons and Increased security due to liability concerns

Items on agenda:
-BOE awarding Ocean County YMCA (YKIDS) to renew their contract with the after school program at the following cost. price per student based on 180 days $667 (co pays $20 per week)

-Approve The Lakewood Scoop to publish Public Notices at a rate of $100.00 per notice.

-Appoint  Robert S. Finger as Coordinator of Fiscal Services Salary: $80 per hour, no more than 20 hours per week $80.00 per hour to attend board meetings

 New security arrangements at the BOE meeting



Picture ID is required for security reasons.
The Raptor visitor management system will be utilized for safety and security purposes so expect delays.
To facilitate public attendance, early entry will be allowed at 6:00 p.m.
Should any member of the public desire to address the Board a "sign in” sheet will be available from 6:00 p.m. thru 7:30 p.m.
There will be increased security at all meetings due to liability concerns and the obligation of the District to provide safety.

    He added electronic Billboards and openly went against the Rosh yeshivos !

  6. The scoop blocks IP addresses. how can he be used for public announcements if the public doesnt have access?? Shame!
