PR Stunt or Empty Threat

Well the LSTA is reportedly going to cease operating transportation tomorrow because it does not have funding to operate.
Legally they are required to provide transportation to all mandated students. If there are no funds the BOE should declare bankruptcy. Agudah of NJ should go to court with it's team of lawyers for  the children of Lakewood
get an injunction to stop this continued insanity.
The LSTA recently got extra funding from lakewood township for public school courtesy busing. The townships first said they have no money and raised taxes significantly. Somehow there was a surplus and they allocated 2 million for the LSTA.
The LSTA also received a $1.5 million dollar loan from the LDC in August.
To suddenly issue a threat to cancel busing is suspicious and perhaps there's another motive for a savior to come by.

  7. Apparently the stunt did not go over well but managed to get another breaking first report that there will be busing.
Are you wondering why the mayor of Lakewood suddenly became the public face to the story yet nor members are silent.
