Lakewood News Briefs 9/12/19

-Ateres Tziporah parents set up temporary  school  for with classes for children that are currently out of school. Teachers were hired for most grades and classes are spread around in various locations. They named the school Bais Yaakov Ahavas Yidroel.
The new school that was announced Bais Yaakov of ocean county is not expected to start until after sukkos.

 -A Independent Citizen Journalist was in Lakewood videoing the public this week  late at night at a Vort near 4th and Madison and than in front of Satmar on Forest avenue. Cops came down to the scene as it seemed suspicious. Members of the public inquired as to why they were being filmed but  she refused to answer claiming its a first amendment right. Some people thanked her for showing the community in a positive light but explained why people would be uncomfortable as they are filmed while going about their life.  The citizen said she films all over NJ and was in Lakewood looking for homeless people finding them shelter. Lakewood Police Department responded to reports of shots fired on Woodlake Manor Drive at around 1:40 AM. The shooter was
found hiding in a dumpster following a brief search and was arrested. A handgun was found in the driveway to Woodlake Country Club. No injuries were reported. (LNN)

  1. Doubt she was a journalist. Film quality is abysmal and unedited. Speech is slurred and unprofessional. Sounds more like a very bored individual trying our her new phone.
