Who else got their 2026 tax statements over the weekend??? Unreal taxes went up 2-4k on smaller simpler houses. If so where is the bussing??? Why no funding when a good chunk of property taxes foes for BOE????heads need to roll and answers are needed ASAP this can't just happen and no one says a word. Where are our elected officials?? Why no noise from them????

DeleteThere’s nobody to blame but ourselves for continuing to elect the same people over and over again for the last 25 years while they tax and spend your money with little to no oversight. Meanwhile, they’ve raised their own salaries, created jobs for family members, and handed out tax abatements to the well-connected.
There’s an election next week. If you vote for the incumbents and nothing changes, there’s no one to blame but yourselves.
Maybe it’s time to stop doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
Special ed is the problem as long as other towns continue filtering out special ed families Lakewoods tax bill will continue climbing - Lakewood attracts special ed children from around the country pretty much the only people moving to lakewood are special ed kids. You may as well use maaser money for your taxes at this point.
