Urgent Message from 32 Lakewood Community Physicians about Measles

we collectively advise Anyone not vaccinated should not go to playgroup or school until further notice
A group of doctors in Lakewood signed a letter regarding the Measles outbreak in the community. They urge everyone to be up to date with the MMR vaccine. Unvaacinated people can create a serious health risk to people that are immunosuppressed or not vaccinated.  Additionally if you are not vaccinated they urge you and advise not to go to school or playgroup. They give guidelines for children and infants when to get their first and second dose of the mmr vaccine. The letter is dated November 9, 2018. see download version below.

  1. I am not an anti vaxxer, But I am very strongly anti cult and anti dictatorship,

It's the parents decision, end of story,

in a dictatorship or cult people demand of other people what they must do "or else"

    Recommendation is fine piriod,

May all כלל ישראל be very Healthy אמן

    1. Then it’s also the Rov or Rosh Mosad to decide which risks he’s willing to take. End of story.

    4. #1)Be very careful where you going with that dictatorships & cults always start with excuses and similar excuses

#2) If you really stand behind your words & believe in what your saying put your name and your picture behind your words, like I do let us all see the face of who's going to force a parent to do something that the parent believes is destructive for his child, EVEN THOUGH the parents are most probably 100% wrong,

Like I said and I'll say it again I'm not an anti vaxxer I'm anti demanding of other people what to do this ruins Society

  2. All these Drs are conspiring to force us to vaccinate so that the greedy Pharmaceutical companies can rake in the big bucks. The measles epidemic is a huge hoax. Ask the “Gedoilim” vaccination is against Halacha, even the Rosh Yeshiva who knows more about medicine than all of those Drs combined will sign a religious exemption for anyone that does not fall for the temptation not vaccinate and will force you school to allow you your child to attend.

  3. Couldn't agree with you more but if a parent makes that decision they should keep their kid at home and not put other people at risk.

  5. This is agenda driven there is no psak halacha permitting the redifos of non vaxxed children from school.

  6. Healthy children can't transmit a disease so there is absolutely no reason for healthy unvaccinated children not to go to school. however if an unvaccinated child is unwell with symptoms he should get checked out by a doctor before he goes to school.

    1. Measles are contagious prior to the rash appearing. An infected child can easily spread the virus prior to being aware that he has the Measles.

    2. Everybody relax!
There is a measles outbreak CURRENTLY. If a child is not vaccinated they shouldn't go to school where they will be in close contact of other children.
Once the outbreak will slow down and vanish. Children can once again attend school.
My message is: Hold strong keep your children busy at home for 21-30 days and then they can go back to school.

  7. Dear Camp Simcha,
Make room for all the new attendees who are about to come. Anybody who knows the ingredients in vaccines knows how lethal and damaging they are. The vaccines are full of heavy metals and carcinogens.
We have an outrageous amount of children with every kind of disease from cancer to autism, to learning disabilities to ADHD to diabetes.
These conditions don't seem to worry us. But measles that was considered a regular childhood sickness in the past generation is making us go out of our mind.
May Hashem have pity on all these korbanos who are being injected with poisons to prevent non-deadly diseases.

    1. Can you prove medically with facts not just opinions and "the rosh yeshiva" or in this case actually his wife said, that what your saying is correct?

    2. You're talking like a fool. There is no way to prevent cancer or other illnesses but measles can be prevented by doing your Hishtadlus and getting a vaccine. Halevai there would be a vaccine for cancer. Or maybe even if there was one, you probably wouldn't take it.

    3. ther are many ways to prevent illnesses! proper diet, rest, excersize, etc. Did your doctor teach you that in medical school? No way to prevent cancer or other illnesses??? You should learn a little bit and know that there are many ways to prevent these diseases.

  8. Cancer is the abnormal growth of cells that results in tumors that can spread to different areas of the body. Diet and lifestyle play a major role in the prevention and improvement of various cancers, including breast, prostate, colorectal, and skin cancers. A diet focused on immune-boosting foods, especially G-BOMBS (greens, beans, onions, mushrooms, berries, seeds/nuts) is crucial in the fight against cancer.

  9. From wikipedia - measles:
German anti-vaccination campaigner and HIV/AIDS denialist[114] Stefan Lanka posed a challenge on his website in 2011, offering a sum of €100,000 for anyone who could scientifically prove that measles is caused by a virus and determine the diameter of the virus.[115] He posits that the illness is psychosomatic and that the measles virus does not exist. When provided with overwhelming scientific evidence from various medical studies by German physician David Bardens, Lanka did not accept the findings, forcing Bardens to appeal in court. The legal case ended with the ruling that Lanka was to pay the prize.[84][116] The case received wide international coverage that prompted many to comment on it, including neurologist, well-known skeptic and science-based medicine advocate Steven Novella, who called Lanka "a crank".[117]

  10. Here is a suggestion. Those who are suspicious of vaccination (not anti-vaxxers) should read a book by the name of Your baby's best shots. It is for the layperson to understand the issue. Unfortunately the anti-vaxxers publish way more literature than their numbers and scientific backing would suggest, so people may be suspicious of them. Read that book and see what you think then.
