Two weeks before chanukah and the last few remaining girls out of high school im Lakewood were placed as of mid November. As for elementary, there are approximately 10 girls still at home waiting for a school to take them.
Unfortunately the conversation today is not on these girls that are stuck crying at home, instead, it's about schools sending home non vaccinated children.
A atzeres tefilla took place on erev rosh chodesh for these girls plight hoping something will be done.
The should take the slots of the unvaccinated kids
ReplyDeleteThere's no money to be made off this hence the silence from askanim and the news media unlike all the noise about the measles
ReplyDeleteWhere are the bold shocking headlines about this travesty on the frum websites?
ReplyDeleteThey only report about vaccines and measles to get clicks.
How much machlokes and Sinas Chinom is caused by this measles outbreak.
ReplyDeleteHashem sent us a nisayom and we failed miserably.
very well said it's mind boggling how this created such a sinah and war like never before amazing what the websites do to us
DeleteThe websites want one thing, clicks which let's them charge more money for ads mostly paid for by mosdos.
DeleteIf any parents of the girls who aren't yet placed would talk to us (I'm a reporter at the Asbury Park Press) I'd be very interested in doing a story on this.
ReplyDeleteAlso, despite what's said here, the measles stories we've been doing aren't getting all the "clicks" y'all think they are. They're an important public service, that's why we're doing them.
