Lakewood taxpayers spent over 300K on the masterplan, what did they get in return? No road improvements or affordable homes, but more Traffic and density. Instead of helping hundreds of local mishpachos, our resources are used to benefit a few yechidim over tzorchei HaRabbim.

Can someone please hang these signs in shuls HERE in Lakewood and in BMG coffee rooms. People are not aware of whats going on. And then the Yeshivos honor ..... and the average yungerman in Lakewood doesn't realize the harm these guys are causing.
ReplyDeleteWhat makes you think people are not aware?? Everyone I know is very aware about who these people are and the harm thats being caused.
Deletethe only people who think no one knows whos causing the problems are the builders and brokers themselves. If they would know how people felt about them they would stop in a minute...
Why is there no outcry??
Then why do they keep voting in the same garbage.
Deleteyou mean the houses are not for our chosheve yungeleit? no way
ReplyDeletenot for our balhabatim either
DeleteLet the Chasidim live in condensed Lakewood and pay $500,000 if that's what they want move to Jackson and Howell and Tom's River south and get yourself a $350,000 single Family home on an acre lot with a swimming pool don't worry about shuls dormitories and Eiruv these towns will become completely Jewish faster than Lakewood you will have ample land to build Mosdos Galore on private campuses
ReplyDeleteWhere can you get a house with an acre land, a swmiming pool and a plce to daven on Shabbos?
DeleteIt's a fantasy. My nephew bought in Jackson. 385. Kitchen not usable for frum family.Had to put in 45k into house Smallish house. He realizes now that he will never be able to have married kids stay over ,no room .basement low, ceiling not really able to finish. Ships not going to happen for years. Has to drive his kids to different schools in Lakewood every day. Does have a big back yard but that's it.Hes not so excited anymore.
DeleteI know some people that moved to Jackson and Toms River, they all seem to be pretty happy, that's were young couples are moving. I don't think the $350K price that the person mentioned earlier is realistic.
DeleteA year ago prices were much cheaper. there is a lot of speculation right now, and people are buying all over hoping neighborhoods will turn.
I think those towns are overpriced, some areas went down in value after skyrocketing. Things will shake out in a year or two. that doesn't change the fact that Toms River and Jackson are increasingly becoming the first option for many, if not most young couples.
Hey Imperial team, I want to find out more about Tomes River.
ReplyDeleteDo these people ever think about the onesh and hezek kepedas of thousands of frum yidden.
ReplyDeleteHow are they not scared?
