Rav Tikotzky, a European survivor who went through Shanghai, came to the U.S. after the war and went to Lakewood, becoming a talmid of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l at Beth Medrash Govoah. He served for decades as a maggid shiur in New York and later relocated to Lakewood.
Rav Tikotzky is survived by his devoted wife, Rebbetzin Rivka Tikotzky; their children, Rebbetzin Chana Leah Kotler, wife of Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoah; Rav Moshe Tikotzky, Rav Eli Tikotzky, Rav Gavriel Tikotzky, Rav Aron Tikotzky, Rav Avrom Tikotzky and Reb Yossi Tikotzky; and many grandchildren.
