Photo: Lakewood Resident got Ride with NYC Terrorist to Newark Airport
Brother's Avromy and Eli Greenhause took an Uber ride two weeks ago after arriving from Miami to Newark airport. They took the Uber to Lakewood and after yesterday's attack realized who the driver was.
So now the Lakewood resident is a celebrity? He rode with a terrorist. So what? He was an Uber driver before he committed his barbaric act. There are many insane people riding the street. One doesn't become newsworthy from crossing their paths. Now if he would have saved the day then that would be newsworthy.
Going into a car from Lyft or Uber is always a risk. One never knows the driver. It's definitely creepy knowing that they hired him for a ride and fortunate that the risk they took going into a car with a dangerous driver for a ride turned out safe. Glorifying the personal OMG moment into a newsworthy story really is something done to celebrities. Jews really just thank Hashem daily for our protection and move on. Unless, there was an open miracle then publicizing makes sense.
