- Tonight marks the 47th yartzeit of the Satmar Rebbe ZTL thousands expected to visit the tziyon in Monroe.

- Road crews spent the weekend paving several streets in the Pine St area in Lakewood, hopefully bringing an end to the construction work that has caused traffic and delays for motorists

- JCP&L is proposing an 8.8% electric bill increase starting in January 2028 if approved. For a typical customer paying $162/month, that’s about $14 more per month. The proposal still needs approval from the NJ Board of Public Utilities

- For the 5th shabbos in a row Yidden  demonstrated shabbos morning in Yerushalayim in front of a café on Agripas street that remains open on shabbos. Police kept them away from the store. New reports say the establishment is owned by Jews for J. With a limited police presence secular Israelis attacked the protesters.

- The Friday crash in Ocean County that shut down a large portion of the Garden State Parkway was fatal, claiming the life of a New York woman, New Jersey State Police told NJ.com. At 3 p.m. Friday, a Toyota sedan driven by Johan Mendez, 26, of New York, veered off the road at milepost 75.8 in Lacey Township and hit the left guardrail, state police said. The Toyota, carrying four passengers, reentered the road and collided with a Hyundai sedan, ejecting its back-seat passengers.

- BDE: Hayeled Shalom Saginer A"H, 4 year old grandson grandson of Breslov mashpia Rabbi Shalom Arush, drowned in a pool during a family vacation in Mexico.

- A suspicious incident occurred Friday night at the Lomdei Torah Shul on Zulti Street in Ramat Shlomo, Yerushalayim. Mispallelim noticed a man acting suspiciously while dressed in a black suit and frum style hat. His unusual manner of wearing the hat raised concerns, and police were called to the scene. According to reports, police determined that the individual was an Arab man who had entered the shul dressed as a frum Yid, allegedly with plans to steal.
