  1. Looks like the agudah stopped vetting speakers, and just grabbed whoever was willing to show up.

    1. Take a good look at the Rabbonim and moreh derech section: Credit for bringing in Rav Dovid Cohen from Chevron. But, then what?

    2. Sometimes I can only marvel at how farbissen some of the comments on Hefkervelt can be. How low can you go?

    3. Looks like they did the opposite of taking whoever was willing to show. For years I thought the Agudah would be better off if they geared their convention speakers to the type of people who actually attend such events. This year they did so. The farbissener kanoim and online posters are going to complain and criticize anyway. No matter who speaks. Best to have speakers like these who are on the same wavelength and hasakafa as the attendees.

    4. "bringing in" meaning a livestream or maybe prerecorded shiur. 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽 And he has no idea with who shares the floor with.

    5. There are two tracks to Klal Yisroel. Those who are obsessed with tzionim, WZO, kol koreis, Robocalls, destroying batei dinim etc. And then there is track 2 who are focused on the real world and real issues (shidduchim, poverty, family struggles, etc.). Bh, there are manhigim for track 2. Rav Dovid Cohen, Rav Elya Brudny and other Rabbonim listed there. Most pathetic commenters are BMG coffee room types stuck in track 1.

    6. Why are the gedolei moetzes not speaking??
For all the years people came to the convention to hear from the gedolim now they are having ladies speak..

    7. If the Agudah had any brains they would break away from the hefkervelt/CBN Lakewood/South Fallsburg types who will always complain anyway. Rov minyan ubinyan of klal yisroel cares about real issues and normalcy. Learn to ignore people who wont respect you and follow your holy mesorah of healthy yiddishkeit, which is the path of Rav Moshe, Rav Yaakov, Rav Pam, Rav Shmuel Kamentsky ...Thr average yid finds this false Kanous approach quite distasteful. Just ignore them and you will thrive.

    8. There is emes, and then there is everything else.
The bnei Torah learning in yeshiva are here solely to serve Hashem nothing more. They are not seeking publicity or fame, nor are they looking for validation from the Modern Orthodox / YU “woke” culture.

They care more about Klal Yisroel than the self-declared professionals or PR experts.
They will stand up for truth and work to preserve the mesorah against any attempts to change it or introduce new ideological “winds” coming from baalei batim.

So your attempt to call them out and label them as kanoim, etc., is inappropriate and reflects a deeper sense of guilt more than anything else.

    9. 1:06 All the bnei Torah who are learning in yeshiva and are looking solely to serve Hashem and nothing more that I know (and as someone who learned in kollel for over ten years I know many) for the most part don't sound off about Aguda asifas or Zionism or MO/YU but when they do, their haskafa is for the most part closer to Agudah baaley batim than the farbissner kanoim you meet online.

    10. The sinas Am haratzim to talmidei chachamim is palpable it's funny how the balei batim are sooo accepting to the left modox woke garbage but have a sinah to yeshivaleit and bnei Torah

    12. Outside the blog world where the default is the whine and criticize most people don't hate Lomdey Torah.I don't see any major Sinas Am haratzim to talmidei chachamim anywhere I go. The exception of course is when those ostensible Lomdey Torah act arrogant and self righteous and full of sneering condemnations of others. Then most people, like Chazal say about Hashem himself, dislike those types. Whether they are Lomdey Torah or not.

    13. This has nothing to do with YU/Woke culture. This has to do with the extremists in the Yeshiva world who may have learn3r in elite Yeshivos and self proclaim that they speak the emes but their Yiddishkeit is built on middos mushchasos. It is a yiddishkeit about "knocking" other yiddin, anger, tearing down, and destruction. Real bnei Torah and real baal habatim recognize it what it is. It is an empty Yiddishkeit and one in which ehrliche people want no part in. When one sees real gedolei yisroel and ehrliche yiddin it is a Yiddishkeit of dracheha darchei Noam and one of sheyehei shem shomayim misahev al yadecha.

    14. We all [hopefully] mourn the churban.
Some out there would say we therefore must be farbissened;whiners;kannoishe zealots;always complaining!!!

    15. R S Miller insisted a certain person cannot be a keynote address. They built a new type of Convention schedule to circumvent around that.

    16. A talmid of that certain person works for agudah, and intentionally scheduled him without asking the higherups, then announced it in media, forcing agudah to accept him.

    17. 4:58 Try to understand the difference between mourning and whining or criticizing.

We condemn; whine & farbissened against the Romans & Babylonians through our mourning -& it's considered laudable for us to be so.

Usually it is yidden who REALLY CARE.
Astonishing for you dwelling in your treife sludge??
So much so they have sacrificed their own happiness for the klal
As that is beyond the capability of anybody you're related & friendly with,
& As they are better people than anybody you have, irrespective of beard color -So all of you should zip it & yield to whatever issues they raise!

  2. Satmar show true belief in their battle against the Zionists and the Zionists shmad. so many Yidden have fallen into the Zionists trap, we daven every day 3 times to get rid of the traitors velamalshinim. While our grandparents survived Germany and Stalin we will survive the Zionists. a Yid is put in jail in Eretz Yisroel for trying to learn Torah.

    1. Aishel Abraham was the most expensive hall.
Same caterer. The profits from this would subsidize the Torah veYirah Bedford-Highway and the Continental halls. Don't know about the highway one, but Continental put out a good show
Boro Park has a similar system, 14-53 subsidizes the Torah veYirah (Ft Hamilton and 53). By the way, the BP ones are not owned by a Satmarer (probably started out that way, and he sold to the current owner.)

  6. Agudah keeps advertising a rabbonim track להשביח מקחם but in truth it's by invitation only, no way to sign up without a secret code, and it's for just two hours at the very end of the second day. Looks more like marketing hype and fluff than a real forum.
