- The Israeli army has begun pumping cement into a tunnel in the city of Rafah where approximately 200 Hamas terrorists are trapped. Washington is pressuring Israel to allow about 200 terrorists to leave the areas.
After the report on Al Jazeera about 200 terrorists "trapped" beyond the yellow line, two security sources confirmed that Israel is expected to allow them to return to the Gaza side. Israel's condition: if they lay down their weapons and return unarmed.
- US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Monday visited the US-operated Civil Military Coordination Center, which monitors the ceasefire in Gaza from southern Israel.
- Southern Gaza Strip: Several Hamas terrorists who crossed the yellow line and approached IDF forces were eliminated from the air

- On Monday, the United States sent a draft resolution to the UN Security Council members for the establishment of the international force in Gaza. Senior American officials say they want the first soldiers of the force to be deployed in Gaza in January
- The Knesset National Security Committee advanced a bill Monday to introduce the death penalty for terrorists, after government hostage pointman Gal Hirsch told the panel that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supports the measure.

- The families of some of the remaining eight deceased hostages held in Gaza on Monday night demanded to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a sit-down with the government’s point man on the captives, Gal Hirsch, to ensure the premier was committed to returning the remaining bodies held by Hamas.
