ReplyDeleteSilly comment. The goal was turnout, not picking the winner. Jack had only a 12% chance on the betting market for weeks, and not a single poll ever showed him ahead. The voter turnout was fantastic and will be a factor for Trenton to reckon with.

DeleteAmazing achdus in Lakewood & surrounding Towns that will reverberate in the halls of government. Lakewood does need an alternative to the Vaad because they aren't seen as legitimate representatives of the tzibur anymore, in the tzibur's eyes.

The question you need to ask - Did Jack ever have a chance? Is he electable? Did we get fooled because he came closer than expected in 2021? In 2021 there were local elections that brought out many republicans - do your research that is probably how Ed Durr was able to defeat Steve Sweeney. Others said it in 2021 (Spadea)Jack was literally handed the election in 2021 and he blew it by leading a horrendous campaign! This time around there was no election handout hence the embarrassing landslide defeat!

You clearly don't understand how the elections work. Everyone voted for TWO asssemblymen, and of those votes, Avi Schnall got 42%, which means 84% of Lakewood voted for him.

ReplyDeleteTelling us we won because of achdus is condescending. Our vote has proven to be irrelevant on a statewide level and certainly on a nationwide level. For the local elections, Schnall technically lost, as he only won because of the pressurized turnout campaign, which will not work again. Next time let's endorse a candidate that wants our vote and promises something legitimate in return.
ReplyDeleteWe also now know clearly that this whole pressure campaign was orchestrated by Avi Schnall who knew well that only turnout would make him win. The Citarelli campaign was a false flag. If you are wondering how high up his supporters are connected, I believe the trump Truth post is proof.
This campaign was important for his construction and nursing home mogul friends. The tzibbur will have no benefit. If Avi was doing a good job for his constituents, he would get some non jewish votes too, which he failed to get in any meaningful numbers.
