Lakewood chaveirim: A special thank you to the many Chaveirim members who devoted time and energy in the cold early Tuesday morning(12/25), helping drop-off and pickup hours at schools run smoothly. Despite the thousands of cars, most locations that had substantial traffic in the past, proceeded without trouble.Two areas are still posing a huge challenge, -Oak/Vine Area
Even though we were able to reduce the wait time substantially, that is still no comfort to anyone who was stuck in traffic. The volume of cars is simply greater than the infrastructure is capable of handling in such a short amount of time. Even though we cannot make the traffic disappear, we keep trying to improve and come up with new solutions to help reduce the traffic pains in Lakewoo
Although it was slower going, everyone arrived safely to school, with Hashem's great kindliness. And the extra time in the car gave us the opportunity to thank Hashem for all the wonderful Yidden here, and for our comfortable, warm car!
