Tuesday, starting at 2:00 pm EST, you will have the special opportunity to share the burden with Bikur Cholim of Lakewood!
Bikur Cholim of Lakewood has one overriding goal: to help wherever help is needed. It provides free transportation to out-of-town medical appointments, kosher meals and food pantries in area hospitals, and a selection of medical equipment available for loan.
Bikur Cholim of Lakewood now services most of the NJ area hospitals. Food pantries are restocked daily, and comfortable Shabbos accommodations for patients' families are at the ready. Patient advocacy, another aspect of Bikur Cholim, helps families navigate the hospital system and ensures that patients receive the most appropriate and best quality care available.
The goal of this campaign is to purchase 5 new vehicles used to transport over 17,000 rides yearly.
