A new high, or low
A house selling for well over one million dollars was listed recently in the real estate section of some local weeklies. Obviously, at least for now it is not indicative of the home prices but the trend is moving up fast making home prices way out of reach for many young couples. Real estate agents no longer are shopping homes to locals, but to people living in Brooklyn who are willing to pay much more for a house in Lakewood compared to what they would have to pay back in NY. The ever increasing property taxes and rising inflated home prices are simply pricing young couples out of the market.Young families who would have liked to remain locally, are either moving to other towns or looking seriously for other options.

Great What a wonderful opportunity for Yeshiva liet and Klal Yisroel in general now Frum people Can spread out and move to cheap Places like Delaware , Pennsylvania , and Ohio where houses cost $150,000 (taxes $1,000 a year) and at the same time have an Hashpoa on the Jewish communities outside of NY and NJ and give them a chance to grow in Ruchniyas and Gashmius and enjoy the amenities we are used to in Brooklyn, Lakewood, and Monsey
