DR. Shanik is synonymous to Lakewood like apple pie is to America. Well not really a comparison but you get what were saying here. Doctor Shanik, not only is he Lakewood's pediatrician (no offense to the others) but he and his wife have established Lakewood's original Tzedakah- Ahavas Tzadaka for poor families.
