  2. More phony photo ops the very politicians responsible for all this traffic, who should have resigned long ago, are now standing by the new light on Oak Street posing for pictures, trying to take credit while they continue to ruin the quality of life in Lakewood. Absolutely shameful.

    1. The BOE owes the state approx $230 million dollars. Yes - $230 million dollars. How are we paying that back? Any idea how much of a tax burden that is? Is someone going to ask the VAAD or askonim?? Good luck to the new members as this is very serious and we need a plan NOW.

  5. No matter what deal you make with unions and businesses, if the workers (drivers don't want to come in to work, nothing will help.

I once needed workers to come in on a Sunday after X-mass, they wouldn't come in even with double overtime.
They would say I won't work on Yom Tov or Chol Hamoed, neither will they. They were right.

    4. Pointing to language in a contract and pushing the strictly legal claim to get busing on Thanksgiving only goes so far. Bottom line is we live in a broader society with a cultural expectation that it's a day off from work and we need to respect that, although it's highly inconvenient.
