Despite past barbs Mamdani once labeled Trump a 'despot,' and Trump called him a 'Communist Lunatic' their Oval Office sit-down on Friday flowed with surprising cordiality. Mamdani pushed for better housing and safety in New York, even teaching Trump to say 'inshallah' amid laughs, while Trump praised him as rational and capable of doing a great job

After meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, Mamdani reiterated his accusation that Israel is committing “genocide in Gaza” and argued that U.S. taxpayers are helping fund it. He told reporters that many New Yorkers want their tax dollars spent on local needs rather than supporting actions abroad that violate human rights. Trump did not directly respond to Mamdani’s remarks.

After meeting Mamdani, Trump said: 

"I can say that some of my opinions have changed. We discussed many issues. I won't make public what was discussed, but I am fully confident that he can do a very good job."

For some reason, primarily that I refused to return her never ending barrage of phone calls, Marjorie went BAD.
