Royal Prince comes to Lakewood
 Malchus!
Prince Edward, youngest of Queen Elizabeth II's children, and tenth in line to the throne will be in Lakewood today. He is scheduled to play a centuries-old form of tennis Thursday at Georgian Court University. The sport is played in an enclosed court with cork-based balls that are heavier and less bouncy than modern lawn tennis balls. Rackets are shorter than lawn tennis rackets and the rules of the game are more complex than the modern version. The prince is participating in a nine-day tour of the United States court tennis courts as part of an effort to raise support for his father Prince Philip's International Award program. The court Tennis court at GCU is the second to oldest in the USA built in 1899. APP

I thought I’d let you know. If it weren’t so easy to defraud welfare, no one would.

APP Editor -OCP should  investigate severance package paid to Lakewood township manager

Severance packages generally go to people who have been fired or laid off.  Why is Henshaw getting severance for quitting? It is a question the Ocean County Prosecutors Office should investigate. Lakewood's generous severance package to Henshaw, coupled with the provision that he not go public with the reason for his resignation, doesn't smell right.
