It's Erev Yom Kippur 5779 in Lakewood and there are still girls out of school.
15 elementary girls waiting and a few girls still out of high school. Parents and children are heading into sukkos not knowing what will be. Some of those who were supposed to work on placement and deal with the issue went away for the yomim tovim and there is no movement.
Hoping this gets taken care of before kol Nidrei. A Gmar Chasima Tova to all.
I over heard from an askan involved that this Friday a girl was promised by a certain Rosh Hamosad she can come to his school they bought her a uniform and she was all excited to go this morning. Then today the Rosh Hamosad backed out and the girl is once again devastated left out in the streets holding her new uniform while the rosh Mosad is out of town.
ReplyDeleteWhen will these games end???
No big deal the askanim are posing for photo ops at exclusive VIP events in Lake Terrace with the fancy caterers and musical accompaniment raising money for the bnei Torah while their daughters are left out of school.
ReplyDeleteI know some roshei moisdos. They dont sleep at night worrying how they will make payroll. They take a minimal salary. They want to take whoever they can, but know the reality is that their school would be jeopardized if they did. One rosh hamoisad made a video of himself being (mistakenly) praised by rechnitz years ago. Patting himself on his own back for all the good he supposedly does. This man is not one of them. This man used my innocent girls because he was scared of me. I never hurt anybody. I never stopped anyone from doing whatever they wanted. But this man needed insurance. And these are the roshei moisdos that give the others a bad name. There are some wonderful people in chinuch in Lakewood. Knock on their doors. They answer. And they dont have schemes and ulterior motives. It's a shame that the schools that are run by politicians and businessmen are more in demand than those run by true mechanchim. If anyone wants a list of names of some of the tzadikim and wants to donate to their schools, call me. I will gladly give you their numbers.
ReplyDeletewere these girls offered a seat in a school? yes or no
