Men's Health screening and Vehicle Safety Inspection
Taking place today at Toras Aaron. The Chaveirim car inspection event is free of charge.
The point of this is not to save money by having people come instead of going to a doctor its was a health awareness event encouraging men to take care of themselves. That being said the organizers should have been upfront regarding any financial obligation if there was one.
If you aren't feeling well, go to a real doctor. If you are feeling ok, spend your time better and rely there is someone up there taking care. I have not come across this proactive/take charge of your future health attitude by those people I consider gedolim.
Do they ask for a suggested donation? If they do, than it's not right that they don't write on the ad.
ReplyDeleteThat's call misleading.
no one s forcing you to go. If you want, you can go to your doctor and pay your full copay.
DeleteThe ad specifically "REQUESTS" all men to attend let them be honest and write if there is a charge.
DeleteI repeat, "no one s forcing you to go. If you want, you can go to your doctor and pay your full copay."
DeleteYou keep avoiding the truth why cant they write on the ad that there is a fee????
DeleteYou must've had a great day you found some absolutel stupidity to kvetch about.
Deleteprevious years there was a required $5 donation for the mens health screening

There is no charge. A suggested donation means that if you want to give money you do and if you don’t want to you don’t have to
