Nine months since shop rite left town the new Gourmet Glatt plaza will once again be full with shoppers who will have a brand new kosher shopping experience. It will take place this Tuesday (yom Gimmel beshalach which is also a segulah for parnassah) at 1 pm. True there are many existing kosher grocery stores but more competition in all areas will only benefit the consumer (hopefully). Current stores have all upped their game rolling out awards and loyalty programs, adding new departments and services as well as upgrading and adding home delivery options. More stores now advertise weekly sales and specials hoping to keep and get more consumers. Seasons supermarket is set to open in the beginning of Feburary on Cedarbridge avenue, Evergreen is expected to open down rt 9 south in a few months time.
