Iran Israel Updates Sunday April 26

- Lag Baomer in Miron will be limited to 1000 people as of now due to security concerns in the north.

Sirens sound in northern area of Rosh Hanikra following Hezbollah drones that were shot down. IDF expecting Hezbollah to increase rocket fire following attacks by Israel.

- The IDF issues an evacuation warning for several Lebanese towns north of Israel’s southern Lebanon security zone, ahead of airstrikes on Hezbollah.

- PM Netanyahu at the cabinet meeting: “Hezbollah's violations are actually undermining the ceasefire. The IDF is operating in Lebanon with strength and thwarting immediate threats and emerging threats

- Pakistan’s top political and military leadership is continuing to mediate between the United States and Iran, with indirect ceasefire talks still alive despite mounting tensions between the sides, two Pakistani officials say.
- From The  Iranian Embassy in South Africa: Iran has prepared for the ‘largest missile strike in history’ against Israel and U.S. bases in West Asia, to be launched immediately upon detecting any signs of an attack.

- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the IDF to go after Hezbollah targets “with force” after two rockets and a drone were launched from Lebanon at northern Israel on Saturday afternoon, activating sirens in several towns. The IDF0⁰ said it intercepted the drone and one of the rockets, while a second rocket struck an open area. No injuries were caused.

- Trump said in a social media post that he had called off the planned visit by his special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, citing what he said was tremendous confusion in the Iranian leadership..

“The Iranians gave us a paper that should have been better and interestingly, the minute I cancelled it, within 10 minutes, we got a new paper that was much better… They offered a lot but not enough,” Trump told reporters.
