In an interview with an Israeli website White house correspondent Jake Turx explains the heter for Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump to desecrate the shabbos. President Trump relies heavily on their advice he says, they are from his most trusted advisers, should the need arise or something happens on shabbos the president has to to discuss it with them. So if an issue with North Korea crops up or anything that is of life and death Situation the president needs to contact them ASAP. He must have them to be avilable at his side at all times. Obama treasury secretary jack Lew who is an orthodox Jew also had a heter to speak to the president on shabbos when the president reached out to him.
