Not even a thank you!
Its two weeks after the elections the vaad could not even take out an ad thanking everyone for coming out and voting for their candidates. Not even a phone call, where is the hakoras hatov? People shlepped to the polls took time out of their day are they not worth a thank you? What about the politicians did they thank the people for electing them again? To get the vote they know what to do, how about thanking all those who keep them in power.

Menashe Miller and Mayer Lichtenstein took out a 2 page ad in the shopper after the elections, thanking everyone who voted for them. IINM, many of the other politicians do as well.
ReplyDeleteThose ads were probably put in by the shopper ( Does anyone remember what the watchdog website wrote about tax money paying for ads in that paper) The vaad did not take out any ads. No other publication had any thank you ads.
DeleteWhy did M&M make a mockery of the olam by not campaigning at all?? by not facing the constituents or discussing the issues and their records
DeleteWe, the people, should thank the vaad for helping us!
ReplyDeleteI would love to thank the vaad, I just have nothing to thank them for.
DeleteI would love to thank the Vaad members I just Don't know who they are
ReplyDeleteIt seems that you love to complain and look for anything you can to kvetch about. You remind me of the character on Shmuel Kunda's Boruch makes a Simcha. Let's all sing the kvetch along song
ReplyDeletekeep trying to distort, spin and deflect. There are major issues and it has to be brought to the for front people cant make ends meet they cant cover the month while others are wasting precious tax money. are you getting paid to troll for the powers that be.
DeleteWhat happened with all the money allocated for the election campaign. Miller & Lichtenstein did not do any major public campaign there were no ads and barely any signs or mailings what happens to that money does it go back to the taxpayers.
ReplyDeleteYou are busy with the taxpayers. Political donations are not taxpayer money. Its private donations
ReplyDeleteDont the politicians get money from the republican or democrat machine?
DeleteCorrect. Political donations are private money. But how many of those donations come from builders, developers, people that need favors. Even the Blue Claws have donated thousands over the years to Menashe Miller. Shame on them for hijacking our town and throwing it in the trash. Shame on them for causing all the other towns to look at all yidden as corrupt people that don't care about their neighbors.
DeleteAnd shame on all the people that hoodwinked us all these years, making us think this is how it has to be.
It doesn't, and the alternative way this town will be saved will not be as easy as losing to two other candidates. The rumor mill is turning.
They didnt put out a thank you as they were being sensitive to HH feelings
ReplyDeleteHH tried so hard and got no place and they didnt want to hurt his feelings or the feelings of his family or god forbid his health
Please don't make your veiled threats against my family. Whoever you are.
DeleteI don't think making two recordings on my phone can be considered working so hard.
And thank you for your concern for my health.
Whatever they get its not taxpayer money so find something else to complain about
ReplyDeletePay to Play, The Mantra of MOST towns in NJ. Sad to see with all the Wisdom in Lakewood, folks just keep on drinking the Kool Aid served up by our Omnipotent leaders. A BIG vaad leader is behind that brilliant rezoning of our industrial park (next to the new Quick Check) into High Density Housing ,adjacent to one of our many Dangerous intersections. Check out Cedarbridge, 3 Traffic lites in a row, covering less than 500 feet as Thousands of cars RUSH to work or school in our new Mosdos (formerly Industrial) Park
ReplyDeleteLkwd ranks 25 in toxic pollution release according to a report I saw here on HV how can so many schools relocate To an industrial area. Why are the anti vaxers silent.
ReplyDeleteThe Gaiiva of the Wise ones is the Most toxic of Toxins
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have the right to debate the wisdom of putting schools in the industrial, park. But the way you write it ,leads one to believe that you hate our Mosdos .I guess you send yoyr kids to public school and therefore have no problem putting down our Mosdos
ReplyDeleteThanks for explaining what I couldn't say publicly. Oops gotta get my kids from public school.
