This is simply a contest of wills between the state monitor and the Iggud. Frankly I’m not sure if the needs of the tzibbur are even part of the equation for either side anymore. How unfortunate for our children that they are dragged into this battle. The public will be greatly inconvenienced but we will all survive the traffic nightmare about to sweep our town. Our children’s chinnuch is a far greater concern. It is evident however that the private school owners have lost site of their sacred mission, educate and instill in our children a mesorah dating back to our inception as a nation. Instead we have (some not all) owners that for years have ignored the needs of children, been inapable of compromising with parents who didn’t fit the mold they imagined and destroyed the spirits of many children caught in their holier than thou attitudes. Hakol bidei shamayim.
