Lakewood has recently suffered many tragic losses of young people with untimely petiros. Its unfortunate though that there is an area where we do have the ability to control, yet its allowed to go on. The issue is the many living yesomim, heiliger innocent children that are made parent-less by our own doing.
Fathers that are torn away from their children, families torn and broken apart by askanim therapists and even some rabbonim who hide behind their names. The system currently in place is to break mishpachos apart instead of building shalom bayis. Lakewood has government funded agencies that hire
unqualified incompetent inexperienced therapists these agencies are not even run by anyone with experience in this field they are there for one thing only- to make a buck. In many cases these newly trained therapists are taught treif goyish hashkafos that are anathema to our Torah. There are over 150 living yesomim
in Lakewood today according to a attorney who is involved with these families. These children had their parents ripped apart from them and in many cases alienated mostly from their father. There is a so called Rabbi who is a self appointed liaison with the authorities and has personally destroyed marriages and had fathers put temporarily in jail for violating made up restraining orders easily obtained by a women looking for it. Many of these stories and cases could have easily been avoided if not for the involvement of amateurs and feminist leaning askanim.
