I still cant wrap my head around what a crazy town this is that there is a week or more between camp and school! teachers have plenty time of I'm the summer and school should start as soon as camp ends. People have jobs and schedules and we have to take off days that we cant afford to be home with the children. We love our kids and appreciate every second with them but we need to put food on the table and cloth them and pay tuitions and therefor we need every hour at work we can get .
Hey. Great idea. Make a camp for that one week. Why kvetch. Nobody owes you anything. If you don't like the camp schedules ,then make your own camp. If you dont like the school schedules then make your own school. There is no kehila that is paying for the camps or the schools. You can do whatever anybody else can. You are not entitled to have anybody else do it for you.
